Transferring Your Hosting

If you registered your domain name elsewhere or if you are currently hosted with another company and you want to host your website with us, all you have to do is set up a new account with us and point your domain name to our servers.

To point your Domain Name to our servers you just need to fill out a transfer form. The form you need to use depends on which registrar your domain name was registered through. Each of these links will point you to the different transfer forms of the major registrars:

> Network Solutions (InterNic)
> Register.com
> Registrars.com (now owned by Verisign)

Many registrars send you a user name and password to modify your DNS settings for your domain. You will need this information to transfer your domain name.

If you don't have this information or if you registered your domain name with a company other than the above (Network Solutions, Register.com or Registrars.com), we suggest you give your current web hosting company or your registrar a call and ask for this information (telephone is always faster and more effective for this purpose).

Here is our server DNS information:

NS1.GOTWEBHOSTING.COM     208.179.45.23
NS2.GOTWEBHOSTING.COM     64.239.138.27

Please note: To insure no downtime to your website, set up your new account now and, don't cancel your current web hosting account until 7 days after your registrar has pointed your domain towards our servers. Also, for uninterrupted email, please setup the same POP3 (using the Control Panel) accounts that you have with your current provider.
